The story behind Berri
I’m sick of being in debt. So I’m building the way out.
Berri isn’t a startup pitch. It’s the tool I needed to face my own numbers, and I’m sharing every step with anyone else who’s tired of being in the red.

The number I’m attacking
$50,000
My debt today. Paying it down in public, one payoff at a time.
How it started
I’m Fanon X. By day I’m a software engineer working on Oracle Cloud; outside of work I build things. Lately I’ve been thinking hard about my own money, and I hit a point I couldn’t ignore anymore: I’m carrying $50,000 of debt, and I’m done with it.
I wanted a tool that would show me my whole picture in one place, tell me the truth about what was quietly costing me, and hold me accountable to a plan.
“I didn’t find one I trusted, so I started building it.”
Berri is the tool I’m using to pay off my own debt. Every feature exists because I needed it: one home for every account, a payoff route sized to real numbers, and a coach that checks in when motivation dips. It’s read-only by design because I wouldn’t hand my money to an app either.
And I know I’m not alone. A lot of us are carrying debt and quietly stressed about it. So I’m building Berri in the open and sharing the whole journey, my numbers included.

If it helps you get out of debt too, that’s the whole point.
